Terrace glazing

Glazed terrace protects your terrace against rain, snow, wind and dust. Terrace glasses add to heat tolerance and help reduce street noise, which all in all creates convenient additional space.

You can order from us two different glazing systems – with or without vertical frames.

Terrace glazing without frames

The system is made from the upper and the bottom powder coated aluminium guiding profiles and from 8 or 10 mm thick tempered glass with polished edges, attached to profiles with stainless steel rivets. This solution has no vertical profiles – it adds air to the opening and leaves an impression of the openness. Similar to balcony glazing, the glasses move and fold along the selected edge like „book sheets.“

If necessary, the bottom guiding profile can be semi-sunk or entirely sunk into the floor.

The glasses move (roll) on wheels equipped with ball bearings, ensuring the mild mobility of the glasses. The first glass can be placed in the ventilation position. On the first glass it is possible to install a one-sided handle (only for opening inside) or a double-sided handle.

Framed terrace glazing

The system consists of the upper and bottom powder coated aluminium guiding profiles and from 6 millimetres thick tempered glass. In this solution, the glasses move behind each other, each panel on its groove.

By using a horizontal profile dividing the panel, it is also possible to use a variety of glasses in one panel (for example, a tinted glass in the bottom part and a bright glass in the upper part).

The glasses move (roll) on wheels equipped with ball bearings, ensuring the mild mobility of the glasses. An important difference in comparison to frameless terrace glazing is that the system is not “suspended in the ceiling” but is “supported by the floor”. It also allows them to be installed on terraces, whose strength / stiffness of the roof structure would not bear the weight of glazing without frames.
If necessary, the bottom guiding profile can be sunk into the floor.

Framed terrace glazing can be fitted with various locking systems.
